These Kids Put A *Unique* Twist On A Heavy Metal Classic And It’s Surprisingly Awesome!

When you think of heavy metal, what comes to mind? Do long-haired men spastically strumming guitars and rampantly banging on a set of drums sound about right?

Well, not in THIS case! The Louisville Leopard Percussionists is a group comprised of children between the ages of 7 and 12 who are giving the face of heavy metal a whole new look. The non-profit organization provides middle school kids the opportunity for some musically enhanced extracurricular activities, and these kids are taking FULL advantage!

In this particular video, the Percussionists cover Ozzy Osbourne’s classic song, “Crazy Train,” and let me tell you – it’s unlike anything you’ve ever heard before!

The almost angelic tone of the xylophones provide an unexpected, yet enjoyable twist to the normally brash song.

What do you think of their version?! See what your friends have to say too – SHARE the love and pass it on!
