The men, women and K9s in our armed forces go above and beyond to defend our freedoms, and for that we can’t thank them enough. There’s a lot that goes on overseas that we don’t think about or are just unaware of.

One of those things is the fact that during summer months Iraq gets hot, VERY hot. Our men and women go to great lengths to stay cool and maintain their sanity. And the same goes for our four-legged soldiers!

Moira the dog in this video was out defending our freedoms in Iraq but her feet would get SO hot on the sand. So one day a package arrived for her and it was a pair of booties! These booties are designed to protect her feet from the elements so her paws stay in tip top shape.

This video shows her right after she puts the booties on for the first time. She is ADORABLE the way she prances around and plays with her handler. She looks like a show horse the way she walks and prances with those little shoes on.
