College Students Attempt To Identify Past Celebrities And Completely Struggle

The millennials, better-known as generation Y, are a hellish bunch. According to a study done by Slate magazine, members of this generation are into technology, well-educated, sophisticated (when the time calls for it), and because we have seen it all since we came out of the womb, we resist when someone is trying to sell us something—or maybe that is just me. With all of our strengths, asking us to correctly identify any celebrities from before the time we were born can garner some hilarious answers.

Gen Y grew up in a time where the digital age was still in infancy. We are the masters of Facebook, Twitter, and many other social media platforms. We subscribe to instant gratification.

What does Gen Y know about the pioneers of several decades ago? You are about to find out. When Jumble Joy tested three college students knowledge of celebrities of old, this was the result.

No one knew the first few celebrities. Just when the future was looking very bleak, a picture of Marilyn Monroe saved the day. No matter the age, everyone knows the iconic actress.  James Dean was also a hit, but I get the sense that sexy celebrities transcend many generations.
