There are desserts, and then there is cheesecake.
Cheesecake is so creamy and sweet, just one bite is like a slice of heaven. This beloved dessert is popular all around the world, and while many might assume that it has its origins in New York, it actually dates back much further. How about over 4,000 years in ancient Greece!
Just when you think there is nothing you can do to enhance the flavor profile of cheesecakes, a recipe comes along that is absolutely divine—mini Oreo cheesecakes.
You will need 16 ounces of softened cream cheese, ½ cup of sour cream, ½ cup sugar, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, 2 eggs, and Oreos.
In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla with a hand mixer. Then add 2 eggs, and mix well together. Next, line a six-cup muffin tin tray with cupcake liners, and add an Oreo to each cup. Pour a cup of the cream cheese mixture over the Oreos and top with crumbles of Oreos.
Bake in a preheated oven at 275°F for 22 minutes. When it is all done, tear away the liners and enjoy heaven in your hands.
