When you think of your fairytale proposal, it may involve a candlelit dinner, a surprise message on the baseball field Jumbotron or a quiet getaway with your special someone. But for this musical duo, there was only one way to fulfill her Disney-filled dream!

Sandor Sturbl and Lilly-Jane Young are two performers for the production, Peter Pan, in Glasgow. They took the stage with their fellow actors and actresses just like any other performance. However, Sturbl had a surprise up his sleeve that Young never saw coming.

He plays Peter in the show and she plays Wendy, so this fairytale proposal couldn’t be more spot on! He stops the music mid-performance and the spotlights move to the two lovers. Sturbl then gets down on one knee to ask her the big question, “Will you marry me?”

She says, “YES!” without any hesitation – only a few tears! The audience couldn’t help but cheer and cry along with the happily engaged couple!
