Moments before the first round of playoffs for the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks, one boy surprised the entire crowd with his awe-inspiring talent!

The professional basketball players were getting in the zone for the big game ahead of them, but Nicholas Connors had his eye on the prize – the National Anthem. The 12-year-old walks up to the microphone and absolutely brings the house down with his voice. His vocal range will leave everyone begging the question, “How did he do that?!”

Connors recently recovered from Tonsillitis, but you would never know it after watching his performance. Like the true professional he is, the show must go on!

After the song comes to a close, Connors was personally congratulated by one famous audience member. J.J. Watt, a professional football player, tapped the young singer on his shoulder to give him a celebratory hug. How awesome is that?!
