We have all experienced the loss of a pet. It can be devastating to lose a member of the family, even if you think you are ready for it.

In February 2015, the grandma in this video had to put down her 10-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She was devastated by the loss. Her daughter knew what she had to do. So a few weeks later, she went out to a place called Canterbury Cavaliers and got her a new puppy.

Of course, they didn’t tell her that this was happening. They waited until the right moment and, luckily for us, got the whole thing on camera. Grandma’s reaction is the best thing that they could have hoped for. She seems SO happy! I would love it if someone did that for me.
