One of the qualifications of being a news anchor is the ability to keep a straight face through whatever story is thrown at you.

While for the most part, news anchors are very successful in doing just so, there are a few times where the story is so outrageous, it’s actually IMPOSSIBLE not to break character.

This video is an example of one of those stories. Reporting about a cat who has taken to swimming in hopes of losing weight, the news anchor cannot suppress her giggles.

Watching her try and keep it together left me in stitches!

I totally understand how she feels, though! Imagine trying to report a serious story about an overweight cat, swimming in a life vest!
