Anyone thinking seafood for dinner…say a nice big dish of crab legs? You’re not the only one!

Bettina Turnbull was looking out into the water at the Rose Bay ferry wharf in Sydney, Australia, when something caught her eye. 

Down in the water below she noticed an octopus actively pursuing a crab, a crab so desperately trying to avoid the menacing creature.

We watch in anticipation as the octopus almost mockingly chases the crustacean in circles, until in one fell swoop, the octopus snatches the crab with one of his tentacles. 

Despite the little guy’s valiant effort to escape, he ultimately becomes the octopus‘ tasty lunch.

Can’t say I blame the lurking sea animal though, with a little salt and butter, crab sounds pretty darn delicious to me too!
