They have been together for 27 years, but this year the happy couple has decided to finally make it official. On June 13, George Kirby and Doreen Luckie will become the oldest newlyweds in history!

With a combined age of 195 years – George at a ripe 102 years old and Doreen a young 91 years old – the adorable pair agreed to make their union official when George proposed to Doreen on Valentine’s Day.

Planning for the long awaited nuptials, the two decided what better day to commend the marriage than on George’s 103rd birthday! Talk about a day of celebration!

Between the two, George and Doreen have had seven children, 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, so the wedding is certain to be a family affair!
