Oreos have been America’s favorite cookie for decades, and it’s not hard to see why. There’s never a bad time to eat some Oreos — you can eat them plain, dip them in milk (they are milk’s favorite cookie after all), dip them in peanut butter, or twist them apart and eat them as two separate cookies.
However you take your Oreos, I think we can all agree that you can’t go wrong with that delicious cookies n’ cream flavor. So what happens when you add Oreos to an already classic treat?
Churros are a traditional Latin American dessert that is made out of deep fried strips of dough that’s been rolled in cinnamon sugar. These delicious treats are very similar to funnel cake and are irresistibly delicious.
In the video below, Popsugar Food shows us how to make Oreo churros! To make this scrumptious treat she scooped the filling from the Oreos into a bowl and ground up the cookies in a food processor. From there, she added the Oreo crumbs to normal churro batter.
What she did with Oreo filling? I don’t want to give it all away, but I’ll tell you one thing — it’s PURE genius!
