A bond between any person and their dog is sweet and special, especially for children. They become the best of buds. Although pit bulls are sometimes known for their ferocity, this 18-month-old dog shows an adorable side to the breed. Watch as he tries to copy his little friend cartwheeling.

The cute video, which was posted to Facebook by Jacqueline Sloan Ziegler, has gone viral with over seven million views and more than 170,000 shares in just a few days.

The footage delighted viewers, showing a little girl named Kailyn performing a series of cartwheels while playing in a room. She was then followed by the brown and white pit bull, named Oakland, attempting to copy the acrobatics. Hilarious!

Oakland’s new found fame has prompted Kailyn’s mom to create a Facebook page for the dog, hoping to show the positive side of his breed. Due to previous incidents, there are groups that petition for banning of the breed. However, many people who own a pit bull believe that they are one of the most loyal dogs you can have!
