Peregrine Church has developed a hobby unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
The Seattle-based man uses stencils and hydrophobic coating to leave messages and drawing on sidewalks across Seattle. What’s so special about these messages you ask?
They are only visible when the sidewalk is wet! Church says that due to Seattle’s association with rain, this is the “ideal Seattle art.” He has over 20 pieces of art scattered throughout Seattle and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon! Watch the video below to see him in action!
After designing his work, Church heads out to make his artwork come to life.
Church uses the non-toxic, environmentally safe spray to create his art and each piece can last up to six months depending on how much foot traffic is around it.
Can you imagine watching this appear before your eyes on a rainy day?! FUN!
