There are many stories out there of unlikely friendship. However, I think this one takes the cake.

This is the story of Osiris, a 3 year old Dutch Shepherd mix and Riff Ratt, a 3 month old fancy rat. They live together in Chicago and are the best of friends.

Osiris was found in a parking lot on Thanksgiving weekend as a puppy. The family fostered him for a few days and immediately fell in love. Riff Ratt was purchased from a reptile food supplier. He was meant to be snake food but the family soon grew attached to the adorable rodent and decided to keep him as their pet.

These pictures taken from their Instagram show the most adorable friendship I’ve ever seen.

This just goes to show that friendship comes in all shapes and sizes!
