There comes a time in every kid’s life where they grow up and have to move on to bigger and better things — like kindergarten. It’s a pivotal moment for every five-year-old. Going to kindergarten is a new beginning, a new routine and maybe the first time some kids are away from their parents.

Most little kids throw some sort of fit about the first day of school, but Mia, the little girl in this video, takes it one step further. Mia just flat out refuses to go to kindergarten.

Her older sister is talking to her about it and telling her all the fun things you can do in kindergarten, but Mia is not having it. Obviously distressed, Mia is talking about how her mom just told her that she’s going to have to go to kindergarten.

Her sister (the one who’s filming) asks her why she doesn’t want to go to kindergarten, Mia responds with, “because I don’t like it.”

Her sister tries to reason with her and tell her that it can be fun, she can ride a bus, have a teacher, make friends. But Mia is one feisty four-year-old and is not giving in!
