Police are on a hunt for up to three suspects in a dark colored SUV, who opened fire in the conference center at the Inland Regional Center, a center for people with developmental disabilities. At least 14 people have been killed. According to CNN, the suspects are armed with “long guns,” and Police Chief Jarrod Burguan tells reporters, “These were people that came prepared. … They were armed with long guns, not hand guns.”

This horrific event comes shortly after the tragic mass shooting in Paris, on November 13th, where a series of coordinated terrorist attacks occurred, killing 130 people.

On Wednesday, December 2nd, SWAT teams and the bomb squad are working to clear the buildings where the shootings took place. As of right now, nearly 14 people are wounded.

Inland Regional Center’s Executive Director Lavinia Johnson told CNN that she believed the county’s Department of Public Health was having a holiday party there.

In the wake of the mass shooting, President Obama restated his call for more gun control reforms.
