If you have already birthed six children and they have all turned out to be boys, you probably wouldn’t expect anything other than a son when baby number seven is on its way. 

After their fourth son was born, they held on to a little hope that their next child would be a girl. But when baby number six was born a healthy boy, they thought chances of ever having a daughter were out of the picture.

Just when Cher Lair and her husband, Stephen, had completely given up on welcoming a baby girl, they learned that they were pregnant, yet again.

With the slightest glimmer of hope, Cher and Stephen entrusted their friend Andrea with the gender of their seventh child. On the day of the big reveal, Andrea baked a cake that would provide the highly anticipated answer inside – pink or blue.

When Cher cuts into the cake, judging by that reaction, I’ll give you one guess as to the gender of baby seven!
