She Stuffs Apples With THIS Delicious Mixture To Create The Most Amazing Desert

Angela Markus

For a dessert that’s too good to pass up, there’s no denying the buttery and flaky crust of Apple Crumble Cups.

When it comes to baked fruit dessert, it is an American favorite and the only way to go after a fulfilling dinner. You’re going to adore this recipe…

You will need 4 medium sized apples, flour, brown sugar, lemon juice and butter. She starts by cutting off the top of the apples and scooping out the insides. She offers a great tip on how to prevent the apples from turning color. Turns out, all you need to do is squeeze a small amount of lemon juice on them.

She then adds brown sugar, salt, lemon juice, and cinnamon to the apples and tosses it around. She lets the apples sit for a minute so that the juices can be released and then starts on the crumble.

She pours flour, brown sugar, and butter into a bowl. She uses a fork to mash the mixture, but that doesn’t work too well, so she uses her fingers instead. My kind of chick.

After crumbling, she sprinkles cinnamon and salt to complete.

In a muffin tin, she fills the cups with the apple mixture and tops with crumbles. She places them in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

Now for the magic! She takes the apple crumb out of the muffin cups with a spoon while they are still hot, she puts them into the apple cups. To take it even further, she tops her goodness with a scoop of ice cream. YUM!
