Kathy Beitz has lived most of her entire life blind. Throughout her lifetime, she has been unable to witness so many life events, including birthdays, graduations, and family gatherings. But thanks to eSight glasses and their new campaign, #MakeBlindessHistory, she is able to witness the introduction of her child being born.

eSight works by delivering up-to-the-second video to blind people and to enabling them to adjust the display as necessary to see it clearly. It’s the latest technology where people with vision impairment get to have complete control over their vision, magnifying, enhancing, and adjusting the images so that their eyes can interpret all that’s around them.

Watch this magical moment this blind mother sees her newborn baby for the very first time. It’s something most people cannot relate to, but a powerful moment to be apart of.
