She’s Topping Off Her Cheesecake Stuffed Baked Apples With Caramel- As If It Couldn’t Get ANY Better!

Baking and fall season go so well together. From cobblers and crisps to warm apple pie, the choices are endless for baking favorites. But here is one unlike any other. Cheesecake Stuffed Baked Apples are one of those mouth-watering desserts that you and the family would not be able to get enough of.

The decadent dessert from Crème de la Crumb requires 6 Gala apples, 8 ounces cream cheese, softened, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and optionally graham cracker crumbs, caramel sauce, pecans

First chop the tops of the apples off and scoop out the insides. You will need to discard the core and seeds of course.

Next, in a medium bowl cream together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in the vanilla, egg, and cinnamon until the mixture is smooth. Then fill each of the apples ⅔ full with the cheesecake mixture.

Prepare a baking sheet and place the filled apples ensuring they aren’t touching. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. The cheesecake filling should set.

Transfer to a plate and place in the fridge until completely cooled. You will want to serve the apples at room temperature or chilled.

For a delicious option, top with caramel sauce, graham cracker crumbs, and pecans.

Heaven sent!

SHARE the love and pass it on.
