It was a run of the mill Sunday afternoon, but unlike most Sunday afternoons, these two farmette home owners heard a strange noise coming from their kitchen. In broad day light, they feared nothing until they walked into the kitchen to find a giant, black snake dangling form their cupboards!

Right where they keep their special spices was the intruder descending towards a basket of eggs. Once they realized this rat snake was not venomous, they grabbed their camera and got a closer look!

Watch as the rat snake wraps his mouth around one of their eggs. With a usual appetite of small rodents and eggs, it’s no wonder why this snake managed to get his entire mouth around the egg.

With two brooms and plenty of bravery, the homeowners managed to get the snake out of their home and into the wild where it belonged! They have since patched up every single hole in their home. Do you blame them?
