Everyone loves some good wall art, but we don’t always love the price tag that goes along with it. Though we all want to decorate our bare, white walls, spending hundreds of dollars to do so just isn’t always in the cards.
Luckily, there are great alternatives to spending the big bucks. All you have to do is be willing to spend an afternoon and dedicate some elbow grease.
Make gorgeous wall art using your left over soda bottle, or water bottle, whichever you prefer! All you’ll need is…
-Blank canvas
-Black paint
-Red paint (or a different color of your choice)
-Soda bottle
-Paint brush
-Paper plates
To get started, lay out your canvas on your designated crafting area, and begin by drawing the roots and trunk of a tree. Even if you’re not an artist, don’t be alarmed — you don’t need to be Picasso to draw a tree! Wait for the paint to dry and then spread out your colorful paint onto a paper plate so that it’s not clumpy.
Next, simply take the bottom of your soda bottle, press it into the paint like you would a stamp, and then place around your tree branches. The end result should look like a Cherry Blossom!
See? We told you it was easy and inexpensive. This would l0ok fabulous on any wall!
SHARE the love and pass it on!
