One of the hardest things about becoming a new parent is overcoming the fear of making mistakes. Throughout the process of raising a small human being, you’re bound to make a mistake. Every mother has and will. It’s apart of learning to be a great one.

Gemma Colley was brand new to parenting and made a mistake not many have made, or at least have admitted they made.

She had just gotten a spray tan and realized her baby was hungry. After a few moments breast feeding, she noticed an orange ring around her baby’s face- the spray tan had left her baby looking like a 1920s clown!

She posted a picture to Facebook in hopes that no other parent would make her same mistake.

Her next attempt at breast feeding her baby safely was a bit more successful, as she assures us in her follow-up post. Phew!
