She Stepped Up To The Mound. Wound Up. And … Holy Smokes! The Crowd Didn’t See THAT Coming!

Throughout history there have been some EPIC fails when it comes to throwing the first pitch at a baseball game. From musical artists like Carly Rae Jepsen and 50 Cent to basketball legend Charles Barkley, there have been some pretty bad first pitches. But hey, can you blame them? If I were to even attempt doing something like that, it’d be a disaster!

But leave it to South Korea to show us how it’s done! When former rhythmic gymnast Shin Soo-ji took the mound at a Doosan Bears and Samsung Lions game in Seoul, South Korea, I don’t think the crowd knew what to expect. Chosen to have the honors of throwing the first pitch at this game, she slowly walked up to the mound.

She got herself situated, wound up and then threw the most amazing first pitch I’ve ever seen! Not only did she just throw it, but she incorporated some of her old rhythmic gymnastics moves. On top of all that, she ended up throwing a great pitch!

How she maintained balance, didn’t get dizzy after that, AND still threw an amazing pitch is beyond me. What did you think of this extraordinary first pitch?
