A favorite in my household is pinwheels snacks, simply because they can be both sweet and savory.  You can create these treats with a few simple ingredients or dressed them up with some gourmet additions and toppings. These Strawberry Crème Pinwheels by Mothertime Marketplace are the perfect sweetness for any party. 

I can’t wait to try these for my upcoming Labor Day celebration. They will also serve well for those up and coming football game Sundays.

This snack is not only delicious but super easy to make. Fresh strawberries combined with cream cheese wrapped together in flour tortillas provide a combination of flavors unlike any other. You can make this simple and easy snack for lunch or even as an appetizer.

You will need 8 ounces of package cream cheese (light or regular), 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced, a pinch of cinnamon, and 4 to 5 flour tortillas.

To make, grab a medium bowl, and combine the cream cheese and strawberries stirring until blended. Generously, spread the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla and tightly wrap. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for several hours until set.

When you are ready to serve, use a sharp knife to cut into one-inch pinwheels and serve cold.
