The widely celebrated Atlanta educator is getting high praise- not for his teaching, but for his dance moves. Ron Clark is a co-founder and middle school teacher at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta. He posted a clip to social media that has the Internet buzzing.
Fresh off a holiday break, the 30-second video shows Clark and seven of his students dancing to “Bet You Can’t Do It Like Me” by hip hop artist DLOW. The popular song “challenges” listeners to do dances such as the Whip, Nae Nae and Milly Rock. The clip has gone viral, racking up an astounding 3 million views in a couple of days. The teacher’s dance moves are as stellar as his students.
Ron Clark Academy is a nonprofit middle school located in southeastern Atlanta. Clark says teachers at the school challenge the students academically but also like to form connections with their pupils.
