Every day we pick out our kids’ outfits. From the day they’re born till whenever they decide they can do it themselves, we dig through their drawers, matching tops to bottoms, and get them dressed without even giving it a second thought. Well, one mom has decided to turn the tables. She is (bravely) letting her 3-year-old son, Rockwell, pick her outfits out for one whole week, and proudly rocking whatever he picks out, in public!

Day 1:

 

A classic Bob Dylan shirt paired with a straw hat, black tights and nude pumps. Not your typical combo, but it’s not the worst outfit I’ve ever seen!

Day 2:

 

A little bit of Mickey and a little bit of Minnie (with the polka dots), it’s almost like Rockwell had a retro Disney theme going on in his mind with this outfit! The sparkly shoes give it a super fun flare too!

Day 3:

 

Obviously those socks match THAT dress (they both of flowers, duh!). Mom admits she felt a bit self-conscious running errands that day, but the reactions she received were well worth it!

Day 4:

 

Upon first glance, this was my favorite outfit of the week by far. But then when you look a little closer…

 

Looks like someone forgot one minor detail in their shoe selection! Close enough!

Day 5:

 

It started out simple, a basic shirt coupled with a nice pair of jeans. But when it came down to the shoes, something was a bit off! Mom still wore them loud and proud!

 

Despite all odds, I actually think the outfits her son picked out are kind of cute! I might have to give this experiment a go ahead with my own kids! What do you think of her outfits, I’d love to know!
