It’s not just McDonald replacing jobs with robots anymore. As more cities push for a $15 minimum wage, companies are looking for new ways to save money.

Yotel in New York City replaced their bellman with a giant robot arm.   Do you think it’s right to take jobs away from hardworking Americans?

With a couple of clicks on the screen it reaches up and grabs a bin for you to store your luggage in while you go out into the city. When you come back, just type in your password and the arm retrieves your bags! Watch the video to see it in action!

This wasn’t the only job this hotel replaced with a robot either. Their entire front desk where you check-in is also replaced with a half dozen kiosks. When you check into this futuristic hotel you never speak to another human! Creepy!

The one benefit is this hotel is about half the price of other hotels in the area. Maybe this is one of those times when a company is passing the savings on to it’s customers?
