I don’t know about you all, but I live for a good proposal story. What can I say? I’m a sucker for romance and this video has it all.

A woman spent an entire month secretly becoming SCUBA dive certified so that she could surprise her divemaster/marine biologist girlfriend with an underwater proposal. And lucky for us, they caught it all on camera.

The adorable woman brought flashcards with her so that her soon-to-be fiance knew what was going on. Though incredibly shocked, she ecstatically nods her head “yes” and the two embrace. Once above the water she shrieks “Oh my God!” and the pair shares their first kiss as an engaged couple. Then, after minutes of being engaged, she’s finally able to see — and put on — the ring! And boy, oh boy, is it a beautiful ring.

What an absolutely adorable story — and what a fun way to get engaged! Here’s to wishing a lifetime of happiness for the young couple. They appear to be truly, deeply in love. Wishing them all the best!
