If you’ve ever spent time, energy and passion to create a piece of art (or anything else for that matter), the thought alone of setting it on fire would probably make you cringe! That’s not the case for artist Matt Sorensen. This unique painter sets flames to his pieces on the daily. 

This may sound a little strange, and indeed it is, but for Matt…setting fire to his paintings adds a creative flair that you’ve probably never seen before! By placing coins and lids on top of his original paintings and applying a blast of heat, he is able to create textures that truly enhance his pictures.
