While parents certainly don’t need to ask permission from anyone before having a child, it seems like it makes sense to make sure your other kids are cool with the idea before going full steam ahead in the new family plan.

Luckily for these parents, their adorable baby boy is totally on board with the coming addition of a new brother or sister.

After asking him multiple different times in multiple different locations whether or not he wanted a brother and getting a firm “noooooo!” each time, the pair decided to ask just one more time. This time, he finally said yes and it was pretty good timing seeing as how this time when the couple asked, they were already expecting!

After giving him a pretty cool “Big Brother” T-shirt, the little boy seemed unbelievably pumped and even asked for his mom to lift up her shirt so that he could see the baby. All in good time, little guy. All in good time.

Congrats to the growing family! We’re happy the little guy is finally on board with the addition!
