Use This Toothpaste Mixture To Remove Glitter Polish

Angela Markus

After enjoying the festive finish of your glittery nail polish, you are almost always left with thoughts on how to chisel away all that sparkly stuff. Most nail polish tends to leave your nails discolored due to a chemical reaction between the colorant and the nail plate. Here is a fabulous and genius way to remove that glitter while treating your nails at the same time.

The Super Wow Style YouTube channel suggests getting the following items: nail polish wipes, nail polish remover, a nail cleaning brush or toothbrush, Vaseline, toothbrush, and lemon.

First, remove the top coat by applying a small amount of nail polish remover to a cotton wipe and gently rubbing away. Next apply the all-purpose Vaseline to your nails. Make a paste with a small amount of water, toothpaste, and a couple of drops of lemon. It is suggested that if you want to whiten your nails, squeeze half of the lemon.

Get a nail brush or a toothbrush, apply some of the paste to the brush and scrub nails intensely. Watch as that hard-to-remove polish comes right off.

Finally, rinse your hands and rub on another layer of Vaseline to your nails and cuticles to promote a healthy look.
