Martin came down with a strange illness that left him in a coma that doctors could never understand. His condition continued to get worse, and doctors guessed he had cryptococcal meningitis. His parents say he continued to fight, each and every day. He says after two years he began to gain his eyesight and could understand everything, but he just couldn’t move his body.
