In a heroic act of kindness, this 17-year-old boy rescued a puppy that looked a little different than his brothers and sisters.
Reuben Stringfellow offered to help his friend when his dog gave birth to a litter of puppies, but unfortunately not all of them were strong enough to survive.
Reuben intervened when he saw a two-legged puppy struggling for her life. Instead of putting her down, Reuben brought her home to his mother, Jude Stringfellow, to give her the life she deserves.
With a home full of love and unconditional support, Faith grew up to be the strong dog she is today, even with just two legs. Jude says Faith’s name, “transcends all religions because we all need something to believe in.”
Faith surprised everyone when she became a sergeant in the Army, stationed at Fort Lewis. Her mission was simple, to make soldiers happy. She is truly an inspiration for those soldiers who have also lost limbs while deployed!
Jude often travels with Faith, and the video below shows her interacting with travelers at Lambert- St. Louis International Airport.
