Every parent knows the importance of teaching your little ones how to swim, especially as we approach the summer months!

Whether you live near the crashing waves of the ocean, near a boat docked on a fresh lake or near a pool that’s steps away from your backyard, you can never be too careful!

A photographer named Seth Casteel decided to document the first moment babies learn how to swim and the photo are all underwater. The artist is famously known for his photos of puppies and dogs underwater, but this time he recruited the help of adorable babies.

The doe-eyed infants express the most hilarious reactions to the strange feeling of being submerged underwater. Some babies are even dressed the part, with all the scuba gear included!

Casteel told Huffington Post the babies were only underwater for a couple seconds, so his time to capture the moment was “extremely limited.” By the looks of these cute faces, he pressed the shutter button just in time to get these impressive still shots!

I think it’s safe to say that you’ve never seen anything as cute as those faces!
