Single-parent Kelley Kim had always dreamed of auditioning for American Idol. But It wasn’t until her daughter was old enough to take her along with her, that she was able to fulfill her dreams.

Watch as this aspiring star finally walks onstage before Harry Connick Jr., Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban for her American Idol auditions- ready to make television history. They’re delighted to find that she’s brought her adorable 3-year-old daughter along with her, that they have her participate in the fun, too!

Listen as her little one steals the spotlight, singing everyone’s favorite Disney song, “Let It Go!” She’s so cute, she even brings a tear to JLo’s eye! But the pressure’s on when her little one gets a coveted golden ticket. When it’s mom’s turn, the judges nervously wait for her to present her voice, but the hope in her daughter’s eyes give me confidence she’ll blow the judges away!
