If you have a list of the things that make your blood boil, I’m sure untangling chains is one of them. On the top of my list is losing or discarding a piece of jewelry I absolutely love. I am sure you will agree with me when I say untangling a chain can be a pain in the butt.

It can happen when you remove your chain and put it aside for later use. Whether you put the jewelry in a purse or jewelry box, when you return for it, it is most likely all tangled up. The worst!

Known for his WD40 life hacks and so many others, the YouTube sensation solves an age old annoyance. After seeing the video, you are going to scream out, why didn’t I think of that?

All you really need to untangle chains is a fine-pointed object. It can be a very tiny screwdriver, even a small pin. The other item, a hard surface. I am not kidding, that is all you need.

He demonstrates this quick solution with a gold chain that seems to have several knots. He places it on the flat surface and uses the point of the screwdriver to move around the chain until the knot is loosened. When the knot is loosened, he pulls and pushes the chain until he can use his hands to untangle it.

He does the same as he untangles the second knot in the chain. Don’t you wish you saw this video the last time you almost pulled your hair out untangling a chain?
