My little pup has been using the same bed for ages that I haven’t even noticed how old and ragged the retched thing has become. It sits sadly in the corner of the living room, but now that it’s been brought to my attention, I can’t help but be embarrassed at how shabby it makes the whole room feel (and I don’t mean shabby chic). 

However, while this video sprung this humiliating awareness, it has also provided an adorable solution that I’m actually excited to create! The Friskies Do-It-Yourself Toy Maker Series on YouTube offers an easy-to-follow tutorial on giving your pet’s bed a bit of an upgrade, and a darn clever upcycle while at it!

With an old suitcase, she quickly transforms the bulky travel companion into a charming and cozy bed for your four-legged friend!

The best part about this DIY project is that it results in something I actually want to have on display in my living room. Goodbye dirty old pillow, hello super chic living room decor! Don’t worry, the pup approves too!
