Whether it’s the flaky crust for your classic apple pie or the biscuits and bread rolls on your dinner table, Crisco has been a kitchen staple for our favorite recipes for as long as we can remember! But now, Crisco can be used for all sorts of alternative reasons!

We found this easy craft that uses Crisco, crayons, an empty Mason jar and some lollipop sticks to create a beautiful addition for your home. These no wax candles can be made scented, color tinted or both! This easy to follow tutorial shows us exactly how it’s done!

Once you make your own candles, you can decorate the Mason jar any way you’d like! You can add a little lace ribbon, rhinestones for some sparkle or seashells and rocks like the crafty woman in the video below!
