Karen Barber and her fiancé Brian Fuller had taken the day off from work to pick up their marriage license for their upcoming wedding. They were shocked when they were told that they would NOT be issued a marriage license that day…in fact, no one would be.

On February 10th, same-sex marriage became legal in Alabama. In opposition of the ruling, 46 counties refused to issue marriage licenses to straight or gay couples. Karen and Brian reside in one of the counties that was refusing to issue licenses and with their wedding just a few days away they are in a panic.
