10 Simple WD-40 Life Hacks You Won’t Be Able To Live Without!

WD-40 is so much more than a spray that penetrates through oil and water — it’s a life saver! This videos shows some amazing WD-40 life hacks.

Want to remove those annoying shoe marks on your tile floors? Just spray some WD-40 and wipe with a cloth. That simple! Dry erase boards are magical. If you try writing on them with a sharpie, you would be sorry. Try spraying some WD-40, and use a napkin. It will require some effort. Although, you can speed up the process with rubbing alcohol (it works better actually).

As you will notice from the video, WD-40 does not prevent fog from accumulating on mirrors in a bathroom. So, let’s move on. A cool survival trick involving WD-40 would come in handy if you need to start a fire. Saturate two cotton balls with WD-40. Even in the rain, the cotton balls light and burn for approximately 15 minutes.

Many people have stainless steel appliances that easily become dirty with water spots and finger prints. Spray on some WD-40 and clean, the appliances will look brand new. If you ever have the problem of removing masking tape from a leather briefcase, you would know that the peel-off is never clean. The remaining glue can be broken down and removed with WD-40.

Make your sneakers water resistant by spraying on some WD-40. You can also use WD-40 to get gum off of a carpet. Just spray, pull off the major chunk, and finish off with a towel. How many times have we gotten scratches on our cars? Whether it was your fault or not, spray on some WD-40 and apply elbow grease. You can reduce the scratched-up look and shine your car at the same time.

If you have the unfortunate experience of having crayons drawn on you laptop screen, apply some WD-40 and it cleans the screen perfectly.
