This Incredible Haka Wedding Dance Brought The Bride To Tears

There are many wedding videos circulating the Internet of funny and non-traditional dances between mothers and sons, dads and their daughters. They are cute and wildly entertaining. Here is a dance that you do not see every day. It is a traditional dance from New Zealand that is completely amazing!

At their wedding in Auckland, New Zealand, bride Aaliya and her husband Benjamin Armstrong were presented with a traditional dance at their wedding reception. The moving performance was so touching that the bride and groom could not help but cry.

The couple and guests were not the only people stirred by the phenomenal dance- its popularity on several social media sites have soared with millions of views. The dance is used in celebrations to honor guests and show the importance of an occasion.

According to the New Zealand tourism website, the haka dance is an ancient war dance that is usually performed by the Māori people. Traditionally the dance is used on the battlefield, as well as when groups come together in peace. As we can see in the video, the dance is a fierce display of a tribe’s pride, strength and unity. Some of the actions include vigorous foot-stamping, tongue projections, and rhythmic body slapping to accompany a loud chant.

Just amazing! What do you think?
