Now-a-days, it seems like everyone has tattoos and piercings in places that are easy to conceal while working in the business world, but brightly-colored hair is hard to hide! This means that many of us have had to miss out on the whole tye-dye or neon-colored hair trends that are sweeping the streets. Until now.

Thanks to this smart young girl and her hair stylist, who came up with a brilliant way to hide a few bright locks underneath the rest of her naturally dyed hair, we now have a way to live it up with everyone else, while still maintaining our professional appearances!

Her stylist, is Don Tan, who works at a salon in The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Spa in Singapore, and his dye job is simply fantastic! At first glance, and as long as she doesn’t touch it, this girl, named Jaye, has simple jet-black hair. But as soon as she runs her fingers through it, her look totally changes.

Now, you can see that underneath each layer of black, are brightly colored blue and purple streaks, also known as the “oil slick” trend. Well “oil slick” hair lovers are going to adore this new way of pulling off the neon blue and purple, by hiding it underneath some other color. We can just tell that this new style is going to really take off and we can’t wait to give it a try ourselves! Now, if only we can find a colorist as  good as Don Tan…
