The moment I laid eyes on Patrick’s picture, my heart broke in half. This poor dog was found wrapped in a garbage bag and stuffed down a chute. Just moments before a garbage truck was about to take him away, Patrick was (THANK GOD) rescued.

Unsure of how he ended up in the garbage, the rescuers do know that the previous owners had fasted Patrick up to a railing for weeks at a time, easily explaining his emaciated state.
