When his son, Azai, received two identical presents for his birthday, YouTuber, Mikki Willis, decided to take him to the toy store to exchange one of the items. Low and behold, Azai chose a Barbie doll. So, what does any good dad say when his son chooses a doll?

He says “You do you, kid. I love you no matter what.”

Sitting in the car with his two sons outside of the store, Mikki gives an impassioned speech on accepting your kids for who they are no matter what. He says that his sons can choose to play with dolls if they want, because it affects him in absolutely no way. He just wants them to be happy and healthy. Everything else doesn’t matter.

It is truly inspiring to watch a dad who loves his kids so much — and it is such an important message. You can’t control who your kids are. The only thing that matters is that they are happy and feel supported and loved. If you make them feel secure, you can be sure they will go far in life!
